Bluegrass Heritage Museum

A nonprofit organization

$11,645 raised by 52 donors

The three floors of our Victorian-era building are filled with continually evolving galleries focused on agriculture, Civil War, other military history, instrument-maker Homer Ledford and more.

Donor support will enable the museum to continue its vital work of artifact preservation and community education, along with building maintenance and upkeep.  Objects and documents related to central Kentucky history are donated to the museum on a near-daily basis, and we strive to provide a safe repository so that these items are available for future generations.  We also have well-developed educational programs for both the general public and area schools; donations allow us to offer these at no charge to students or adults.
